About us

NX is a small, independent Arctic adventure company based in Western Finnmark, Northern Norway.

Our base is MS Tuvholmen — a restored wooden fishing vessel that now serves as a floating lodge and expedition platform. From the boat, we operate year-round journeys shaped by the seasons, the weather and the landscapes we move through.

Our experiences range from winter whale expeditions and ski touring to summer sailing, hiking and sea-to-table journeys under the midnight sun. Some trips last a few hours, others several days — but all are built around the same principles: small groups, flexibility and close contact with nature. 
We believe meaningful travel takes time. Rather than rushing between highlights, we travel slowly, adapt to conditions and let the Arctic set the pace.
